Thirty of our most accomplished U.S. singers will venture to Shelter Island, New York—a small island tucked between the Hamptons and the north fork of Long Island—for a retreat and concert. Reachable only by ferry, Shelter Island is surrounded by beautiful beaches and includes a 2000 acre coastal preserve.

Our repertoire will feature the music of living composers including Sarah Rimkus, Marek Raczynski, Paul Mealor and Eric Whitacre.  We we will once again welcome cellist Thomas LaForgia who will collaborate with the choir on Michael Gilbertson's 2019 composition Migration. The residency will conclude with a concert in the beautiful and historic Old Whalers’ Church in Sag Harbor.
