Iceland
July 19-27, 2025
Coro Mundi will be holding our next international festival in Iceland in the summer of 2025! We will be in residence in Reykjavik from July 19 to 27, rehearsing and performing beautiful choral music. Our homebase for rehearsals, and the venue for one of our three performances, will be Harpa, one of Reykjavík's most striking landmarks and a center of cultural and social life in the heart of the city.
A Nordic island nation, Iceland is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, lava fields and geothermal baths, including the well known Blue Lagoon. Massive glaciers are protected in Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull national parks. Its capital and cultural center, Reykjavik, houses most of the nation’s population and runs on geothermal power. A popular destination for international travelers, Iceland has something to offer everyone - rich medieval history and literature, thriving contemporary culture, stunning natural beauty and wildlife, and a totally unique cultural experience.
